Hello Everyone,

It has been another great summer and fall season here at Rio Colorado Cabins. We appreciate everyone who came to stay with us this season. Whether you were a first time guest or one of our regular visitors, we hope you had a wonderful stay. This summer we stocked 4,950 pounds of Rainbow trout in our private pond, and according to our records our guest caught over 3,300 fish this season! We hope you were able to catch one of the big ones and have your picture posted on our Facebook page. If not there is always next year, so if you haven’t made your reservations for next summer you may want to start planning that today. We were extremely busy again this year and we are already filling up fast for next summer.

We have had one of the most beautiful fall seasons that I can remember. The temperatures were extremely warm through September and October and the colors of the aspens were amazing. It seemed as if everyone else enjoyed the extended warm temperatures this year as well. It has finally slowed down a little bit here at the end of October.

As you may have noticed we have spent most of the summer working on our great new and improved website. We hope everyone enjoys it. We have updated all of our pictures and changed the layout, logos and added a ton of new features, such as our new blog, new search features, and have also incorporated a new Instagram and Pinterest accounts (please look us up and feel free to share your photos and pins etc.).

As we look ahead to the end of fall and a little bit of a slower pace, we are already working hard to complete our list of projects before the weather turns cold. We look forward to seeing you all again next summer or sooner. Remember we are open year-round and this winter’s forecast is setting up to be a great ski season.

See you soon!
